DESCRIPTION:6:15pm Public Hearing -AMENDMENT OF VILLAGE OF GREENWICH LOCAL LAW NO. 2 OF THE YEAR 2008\, ESTABLISHING RATES AND REGULATIONS FOR WATER SERVICES\, CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE \n6:30pm Police Committee Reforms \nBe it enacted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Greenwich\, New York that Local Law No. 2 of the year 2008 entitled “Establishing Rates and Regulations for Water Services\, Construction and Maintenance” be amended as follows:   \n Article I\, Section 5 is amended as follows: \n Add a new §5 (D): \nThe Village has the authority to change the type of meter that is approved for use in the Village and to require upgrades or repairs to such meters. Upon reasonable notice\, all Water Account holders shall allow access to the meters on their property so that meters may be replaced\, upgraded or repaired. If\, after a period of five (5) business days from the day the third and Final Notice from the Village Department of Public Works requesting that the Account Holder grant access has been delivered to the Account Holder at the address on file with the Village has elapsed\, the Account Holder has not arranged for access to their property pursuant to the instructions in said Final Notice\, a penalty of $100.00 will be charged to the Account Holder.
